As I put a crown of thorns at the top of our Christmas tree this year, I was struck once again by what Jesus did for me. Knowing a crown of thorns similar to this one sat on his head, likely digging into his skin, breaks my heart. These thorns are so big, so long and so very sharp. Thank you, Lord, for the punishment you endured in my place!
