Well, this little guy has been growing quickly the last few weeks. He seems to be getting much bigger but is also getting much stronger. It's been fun to feel him kicking around and for Ryan to be able to feel him as well. One night we laid in bed and just watched as my stomach was moving from those strong kicks. It's so incredible that there is a little person growing inside of me! God is just simply amazing! Praise Him for giving us this sweet little baby.
We also started registering, which is both a fun and overwhelming process. I mean, does one little baby need that much stuff!? The stores sure make you feel like they do. We welcome any registry words of wisdom or any suggestions on particularly helpful items.

You must have a packnplay. This is essential! You may not need it right away, but you'll need it after he's 5 months old! :)
I can't recommend an Ergo baby carrier enough. There are lots of carriers out there, but this one is the most comfortable for you and the baby. (And they have an 80% or more resale value on eBay) but you won't need to sell it for a long time- The baby can use it 'til he's 50 pounds! I also think cloth diapers are the way to go if you're concerned about saving money. Expensive initially, but 10-20$ per week on diapers adds up FAST. Plus, you don't need a diaper genie and all that jazz if you go with cloth. Just a wet bag or two. I wash mine every other day, and it's really quite easy... just turn on the washing machine! Bouncers are good for babies with gas. I'd also say skip the changing table and just get a couple changing pads you can use on any surface, if you're looking for ways to keep things simple.
