One year ago today, little one, we were holding you in our arms for the first time! I can't believe it's already been a year, and yet, it seems somewhat difficult to remember what life was like before you came.
Today when we were at Walmart, you were sitting in the cart and a sweet old lady walked by. "Aren't you precious!?" she said. "That sweet smile of yours would make anybody feel better." That's certainly how I feel, and I praise him for your joyful spirit.
I'll write a more in-depth post later, as well as a recap of your first birthday party, but for now know that we celebrate your life and thank God for the sweet gift that you are.
